The Integrated Self Framework

Our 3-part Integrated Self Framework (ISF), is an integrative model merging traditional talk therapy with trauma-informed yoga and breathwork practices, parts work therapy and EFT to address both mental and physical aspects of well-being.

While talk therapy works with cognitive understanding (top-down), yoga, breathwork, parts work therapy and EFT addresses the physical sensations and nervous system regulation (bottom-up) that talk alone does not.

This body based somatic approach to therapy is designed to help you reconnect with your true-self, cultivate self-love and heal childhoods wounds so that you can deepen your understanding of yourself, find inner peace and improve your relationship with yourself and with others.

Core principles of the Integrated Self Framework:

Re-Root: Uses Trauma Informed Yoga and Breathwork practices to establish a sense of safety in the body. This step emphasises the present moment experience and encourages you to notice the impact of subtle changes in body awareness, breath, and movement on your felt sense of self. This step helps calm the nervous system, creating a secure base for emotional exploration and healing.

Re-Connect: As psychotherapists trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), we guide you to explore and heal inner parts, disowned or hidden aspects of self to build trust and inner harmony. This process enhances self-awareness, reduces internal conflicts, and makes genuine self-love and self-acceptance more accessible.

Re-Wire: As psychotherapists trained in Emotional Freedom Technique we use tapping on acupressure points while recalling a negative emotional memory to process triggers, release emotional blocks, and transform limiting beliefs. The memory exposure triggers the emotion, the self-acceptance phrase reduces self-criticism, and the tapping provides a soothing physical cue that helps the nervous system reset. Used together this helps deactivate the stress loop attached to the memory, often producing noticeable relief in minutes.

The Integrated Self Framework helps you understand yourself better so you can heal self-sabotaging patterns of behaviour and approach life with more confidence and clarity, feeling more assertive, empowered and able to get your needs met. You will learn how to take responsibility for yourself, be more open, vulnerable and honest and less afraid of showing up as your true self!

Our goal with our one-to-one therapy sessions, online courses and day retreats is to provide you with the tools to do the inner work so that you can understand yourself better and move towards a more connected, intimate, and authentic relationship with yourself and with others.

Unlock the Power of Self-Connection!

John and Fiona are the founders of Re-Younify and the Integrated-Self Framework, John an Integrative Psychotherapist and Breathwork Coach and Fiona an Integrative Psychotherapist and Kundalini Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga teacher developed the Integrated-Self Framework after applying it to their own lives and seeing their relationships improve and thrive.

Partners in life and in business they both share a passion for therapy and healing and over the last few years have supported each other as they have studied together and independently, to gain further knowledge, understanding and experience on this subject.

As they studied together and put into practice what they were learning, they realised that talk therapy alone wasn’t enough to truly support their clients and they began to see that how the body responds to life experiences can be just as important as the story being told.

As they applied the Integrated-Self Framework to their day-to-day life, they started to see positive shifts happen, in their communication with each other, in how much more connected and safer they felt and on how much happier they were.

The Integrated-Self Framework has helped them take responsibility for their words and actions, recognise their own triggers and frustrations and work through them so that they can be more responsive and less reactive to each other and to life situations.

It has also helped them communicate more clearly and authentically with each other and when triggered they have learnt to slow down, pause, stop and reflect and to process whatever was going on inside.

As a result of applying the Integrated-Self Framework they generally feel lighter, happier and more content with life as they process the traumas and triggers that had been weighing them down for years.

They now want to help others reconnect with themselves using the Integrated Self Framework  so that they too can enjoy a more connected, harmonious relationship with themselves and with others.

In their one-to-one therapy sessions, online courses and day retreats they guide you in the practical application of the Integrated Self-Framework so you too can apply it in your day-to-day life.

This deeper connection with yourself allows you to navigate life’s most challenging moments with more resilience and understanding.

By slowing down and paying attention to your inner and outer world you will deepen your understanding of yourself.

This enhanced self-awareness helps you be more authentic, present, calm and resilient in your day-to-day life and will improve your relationship with yourself and with others.

Dying To Be Seen

“A healthy relationship will test you more than a toxic one. Because it won’t let you run. It holds up a mirror and says: Show up, Communicate and Grow! That’s why real love scares people more than chaos ever could.” Splendour Nkiruka

In this online self-paced 6-week course we dive deep into rupture, repair and forgiveness in intimate relationships.

In this course, using the Integrated Self Framework, we explore why we rupture, why repair is so challenging and how to really stay present with each other to truly hear each other’s needs, wants and requests.

We look at the importance of self-reflection and doing the inner work especially looking at shamed or shaming parts. We explore techniques such as mirroring and validating with our own parts as well as our partners.

Finally, we explore how to have courageous conversations, where we feel safe to reveal our deeper selves without the fear of being judged or criticised by ourselves or our partner.

By the end of this course, we want you to feel confident tackling hard conversations, be able to stay present with each other, even if you don’t agree with what they are saying, and to both feel seen, heard and understood in the relationship. This will lead to a deeper safer connection and a more intimate relationship.

So why not join our couple’s course Dying to Be Seen and transform your life and your relationship today!

TESTIMONIALS.

Let Others Inspire You.

"When I came to Fiona I was feeling quite stuck and a bit low, and even though I know several “healing tools” nothing seemed to help me move through it.

With Fiona’s compassionate support, great listening skills and holistic somatic approach, I felt a real shift! And after our sessions, I felt my energy lighten and increase. I have found myself feeling and being more intentionally productive, choosing what feels right for me to do, instead of trying to do it all at once and getting stuck!

I highly recommend working with Fiona!!"

"I had a session with John as I noticed that I had a general underlying anxiety around new situations. In the past I have done lots of talking therapy, meditation and breathwork, but I never reached a point where my anxiety was completely resolved. During the session John guided me in trying out a few methods, including tapping therapy and parts work, and I realised that I still had some unresolved issues from the past.  It was an enjoyable, albeit emotional, experience.  It differed from the usual talking therapy approach and helped me to tap into things that I had previously been unaware of.  I would recommend going into this with an open mind.  If you have tried other styles of therapy, you may find that John’s approach can help you go deeper inside and find the parts that still need to be worked on, so it comes highly recommended from me."
